A few steps after leaving our house, you will reach the “rue Mirebeau”, a lively pedestrian street that will lead you to the “place Gordaine”. You will be enchanted by the charm of this place, its various restaurants and half-timbered houses perfectly preserved.
From there you could walk up the “rue Bourbonnoux” towards the magnificent Saint Etienne Cathedral, or better still, you could follow the paved streets of the old town wich will guide you immerged in a medieval ambience.
On your way, you could see the “hôtel Estève”, the “Grange des dîmes”, the “hôtel Lallemand” and other remnants from the rich past of Bourges.
If you are not afraid of heights, you could even climb the 396 steps of the north tower of the Cathedral and be delighted by the panorama of the city.

A little farther (150 m) you could reach the Marshes, which gives you the opportunity to have a nature and peaceful walk in this haven of tranquility...in the heart of Bourges!
